DMCA

mydailyprayer.com.ng values the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We adhere to the federal Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), which you can read on the U.S. Copyright Office website at http://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmca.pdf. We will act on any notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and other applicable laws, provided they are properly submitted to us. If you believe that content on our site infringes your copyright, please send us the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright holder or someone authorized to act on their behalf;
  • A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed;
  • Details about the material you believe is infringing, including information sufficient to help us locate it (such as a URL);
  • Your contact information, including address, phone number, and email address;
  • A written statement asserting that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law; and
  • A statement that the information you have provided is accurate and that, under penalty of perjury, you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

If you believe your content was wrongly removed or you have the rights to use it, you may submit a counter-notice with the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright holder or someone authorized to act on their behalf;
  • Your physical or electronic signature, including your full legal name;
  • Identification of the content that was removed or access to which was disabled, along with the location where it appeared before removal or disabling;
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled due to an error or misidentification; and
  • Your name, address, phone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or where you are located, if outside the U.S.), and that you will accept service of process from the individual who submitted the original infringement notification.

Upon receipt of a counter-notice, we may forward it to the original complainant, informing them that we may restore the removed content. Unless the original complainant initiates a legal action seeking a court order against the content provider, member, or user, we may, at our discretion, restore the removed content within ten to fourteen business days after receiving the counter-notice.

Please be aware that filing a counter-notification may result in legal proceedings between you and the complainant to establish the rightful ownership of the content. Making false or bad faith claims through this process can lead to legal consequences in your jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to remove content alleged to be infringing without prior notice and at our sole discretion, as necessary.
