Morara Kebaso’s grandfather was George Justin Morara, a politician who briefly served as the Member of Parliament for West Mugirango in Kenya. His political career lasted only nine months, ending in September 1970 due to a suspicious car accident in Nandi Hills. The accident occurred shortly after George publicly criticized the government and questioned the investigation into the assassination of Tom Mboya, a prominent Kenyan politician.
